An ending and a beginning...

detritus and dust
six years
neatly packed away

about the above:
How fitting that with this new year, this blank slate lying ahead, that I should begin a brand-new career as well! It's mystifying how much crap can be packed into a cubicle, but I've done the deed. I've parted with a good bit of it, and passed my coveted stapler on to another. My departure is not without a touch of sadness, for I will certainly miss the people here. After all, that's what makes or breaks any vocation, the people. My new adventure begins on Monday.

Interesting word, "detritus." But it goes perfectly with this piece. Well done.

thanks fellas. detritus is a word that gets little use. i like the metaphorical useage of it here, and am glad you do too.

thanks for your input!

Besides the alliteration we all get our fair share of both. Like Andrew, glad I found your blog! Love the title of it too!

i'll be sure to check out your blog as well, Pat! thanks for stopping by!
