The Next Day

"And there was evening, and there was morning-- the next day." --Genesis

I've been remiss in reading my Bible and keeping up with my study of God's word. I confess my heart is not in the right place for this upcoming mission trip. I'm too focused upon my own desires and all the little stuff that creeps in, the minutiae of day-to-day life.

"God grant me wisdom to know how to fully serve You in this. I want my heart to be in the right place, in order that Your will be accomplished through me."

I'm thankful that His mercies are extended to me every day! The 'next day' is not promised to us, but a gift. I pray that I use today and 'the next day' to the fullest extent.
