Outer Banks

This past weekend, L. and I traveled to the Outer Banks for a weekend get-away with small group friends and guests. It was wonderful to get outta town and God really saw to it that we had gorgeous weather the entire time down there. Here's an image of us taken on a small pier near the house as the sun was just disappearing over the sound.

As always, it was good to spend a little quality time (one of my primary love languages) with L. We had a nice stroll along the sandy shores of Hatteras Island, collecting a multitude of pretty shells in the process. Walking and talking, it's these times I enjoy the most with her.
