Sea Change, Part Two

Yesterday's interview is already paying dividends today. In less than 24 hours after I left the director's office, I already had a job offer! I am astounded at how fast the private sector moves. Having worked in state government for over six years, I know how incredibly deliberate, (read: slow) they can be when making hiring decisions.

Tonight, I'm ecstatic at the new career path I'm being offered. I haven't as yet, accepted, but as I pray about this decistion (and sleep on it, too) I'm certain I'll come to a definite answer. I feel that the door to this opportunity has literally been flung open to me. It seems the right choice. All I must do is walk the path before me.
