Eugene Francis Jnr and The Juniors

I recently was turned on to the UK band, Eugene Francis Jnr and The Juniors. Their single "Poor Me" is undeniably catchy and filled w/ infectious keyboards and hooks.

From the artist's My Space page, Eugene cites influences such as Cat Power, Arcade Fire, Beck, Yo La Tengo, Bright Eyes & Broken Social Scene.

In his own words, he describes his sound as:

Evan Dando whilst piggybacking Beck and Bright Eyes but collectively on less drugs with more of a falsetto.

However you classify Eugene Francis Jnr, his sound is original, and he's worth checking out.
