Post Austin

The flight home was uneventful, but that's not to say I didn't fire up some prayers as we landed. It's good to be back on Carolina soil. I am still carrying around some central Texas dust in my lungs from Zilker Park. It's not pretty, folks.

Even though it stinks to be back in the office, I'm thankful I have a job that keeps me indoors. I've done a fair share of hard, manual labor outside, but after being in 105+ degrees for the better part of a week, it makes me appreciate my cushy environment all the more.

Preparations are underway for a mission trip to Kiln, Mississippi. I originally thought we were headed to Gulfport, but God knows where help is needed the most. More on that later.
