Sunday Morning Coming Down

Them's Got Ears Let Them Hear*

A few years back, as part of a massive, CD mix exchange, I cobbled together a collection of religious songs and sent them literally around the world. Some of the artists might be familiar, and others not so, but the common thread that runs through these songs is steeped in old-time religion. I thought I'd dust it off and offer it up to anyone who might care to listen. It's a perfect companion piece to a Sunday morning. Enjoy.

01. Wilco - Airline to Heaven
02. Southern Culture on the Skids - The Great Atomic Power
03. Uncle Tupelo - No Depression
04. Hayseed - God-Shaped Hole
05. Billy Bragg & Wilco - Blood of the Lamb
06. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - I Saw the Light
07. The Louvin Bros. - The Family Who Prays
08. Johnny Cash - Redemption
09. Billy Bragg & Wilco - Christ for President
10. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band w. Maybelle Carter - Will the Circle Be Unbroken?
11. Hayseed w. Lucinda Williams - Precious Memories
12. Kenny Roby - Tidal Wave
13. The Byrds - I Am A Pilgrim
14. Johnny Cash - Where You There?
15. Thad Cockrell - He Set Me Free (live)
16. Robert Sean Leonard - Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling

*Matthew 11:15
