Who has controlled the Middle East over the course of history? Pretty much everyone. Egyptians, Turks, Jews, Romans, Arabs, Greeks, Persians, Europeans...the list goes on. Who will control the Middle East today? That is a much bigger question.

Thanks for stopping by, Cat. There are several "Maps of War" at the website link posted. A new one illustrates US Wars and the President's Party that was in power at the time. It's pointless really to point those kinds of stats out, IMHO, so I didn't post it here. But it's interesting, nonetheless.
